Hermit Day
Normally we have to bake on Christmas Eve, but not this year. Taking full advantage of the opportunity we are spending the day as a hermit day as a little help in preparing ourselves to enter a bit more deeply into the mystery of the Incarnation. A welcome opportunity to be sure.

Home For The Feast Days
Our seminarian at Catholic University in Washington, DC, Br. Isaac, arrived home last Sunday and will be with us until early January. He was due to arrive on Saturday but his flight was cancelled due to the snow storm along the east coast and he spent much of the day shovelling snow with the other students.

Next Update
There's no telling when we'll be able to update this page. Tuesday, Dec. 28th, Fr. Gerard and I will be heading for Orlando, FL for the FOCUS (Fellowship Of Catholic University Students) convention where upwards of 5,000 students will be meeting to consider the question, Where is God Calling You? If God is calling some to monastic life we hope to help them hear that call by providing information on our way of life. Paricularly at Genesee, of course! We'll be returning January 3rd.

MAY THE PEACE & JOY OF CHRISTMAS BE OURS NOW AND FOREVER!
